[Oct 2025]: In collaboration with the Addis Ababa Science and Technology University, Addis Ababa City Municipality, and local communities, WLRC and MoWE make progress in the establishment of a Constructed Wetland in Akaki-Kality Sub-City of Addis Ababa. On-site visit shows that bulk excavation and compaction of the artificial wetland area are already done, and the next actions are due soon.
The action is led by Dr. Alazar, Dr. Amare Bantider and Ato Abrham Workneh, who also coordinate, together with Dr. Bitew, Dr. Endaweke, and other colleagues, Waste Water Treatment measures at Tirunesh Beijing Hospital and Water Quality Management for a big Brewery at Debre Birhan Town in N/Showa Zone of Amhara region.
