The IWRM Catchment Coordinators Induction Program took place on 11th Jun,2025 at the WLRC 5th floor. This one-day program brought together the 5 new catchment coordinators for an in-depth orientation on key institutional frameworks and project priorities.

The program included an introduction to WLRC and the BRIGHT Project, an overview of our HR policies and code of conduct, highlights from ongoing research on hotspot sub-basins, and discussions on project coordination and digital tools such as POMS.

WLRC Director Dr. Gete Zeleke also welcomed these newly recruited staff with an inspiring message about the institution’s dynamic work culture. In his remarks, Dr. Gete emphasized that the new team members will play a key role in laying the groundwork for BRIGHT’s IWRM activities and should be ready to engage in an intensive, hands-on efforts. He encouraged them to embrace the challenges ahead with dedication and a strong work ethic.
