Call for Expression of interest for Sustainable Land Management training workshop
Our research centre is thrilled to share the Call for Expression of Interest to participate in the Regional Sustainable Land Management Training Workshop and Launch of AfrioCAT, organized by WOCAT, AUDA-NEPAD, and WLRC.
When: 20 October 2025
Place: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Objective: Enhance capacity for Sustainable Land Management (SLM) and Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN).
• Train stakeholders on WOCAT tools and methods.
• Foster South-South collaboration and innovation in SLM.
• Launch AfrioCAT, the WOCAT Regional Cluster for Africa.
• Develop strategic plans and strengthen partnerships for land restoration.
Who Can Apply: Institutions across Africa actively engaged in SLM, land restoration, and LDN, including governments, NGOs, academic institutions, and think tanks.
Travel, accommodation, and daily subsistence allowances will be covered for selected participants.
