Becoming a knowledge hub and centre of excellence on sustainable management of water and land resources in Ethiopia and the GHoA by 2030.
MISSIONS
- To generate scientific evidence on water and land resource management, climate risk management, and cross-cutting themes such as resource governance, and knowledge management,
- To contribute to people’s income and livelihood improvement and sustainable development by implementing selected key interventions at hotspot learning sites that facilitate scaling out proven experiences and approaches,
- To inform and influence policy, decisions and systems that shape practices in water and land resources management and livelihood improvement,
- To devise state-of-the-art knowledge management systems and platforms for capturing, storing, processing and using real-time data and knowledge resources on water, land, livelihoods and resilience building, climate risk management, and resource governance.
