[WLRC April 2024]: The Water and Land Resource Centre Kunzila Integrated Landscape Management and WASH (Kunzila-ILMWA) Project conducted a performance review on 6th-7th of April 2024 at Unison Hotel, Bahir Dar. During the review session, the project management acknowledged the strong sense of community ownership to sustain the project activities despite the insecurity in the project area. The session highlighted the project’s activities according to the plan and set a direction for future tasks.

ILMWA project’s nine-month performance evaluation was held on April 6–7, 2024, in Bahir Dar at UNISON hotel in the presence of Land and Ecosystem Service Division Head Dr. Yilikal Anteneh and Project Manager Dr. Fekadu Gelaw from the head quarter. Regional project managers, senior experts, watershed technicians, community facilitators, monitoring station assistants, and woreda focal person participated in the performance evaluation. Reports have been presented across watershed and discussed as per the plan. Filed observation-based watershed performance assessment and the overall status of the 18 watersheds have been observed prior to the workshop and presented by Mr. Bekure Melesse, who help validate the performance evaluation process. Moreover, each watershed’s three-month plan (April –June) was presented to and discussed by the attendees. The meeting was ended by suggesting comments on the report and directions for the course of action for the following three months.
