[October 2025]: With the support of the BRIGHT Project, MoWE, the respective Basin Administration Offices, and WLRC commenced a revision of the Basin Management Plans for Awash Basin and Rift Valley Lakes Basin. Abraham Dirbaba and Zinabu Abrham, BRIGHT Project Resident Basin Coordinators for the two basins, have been coordinating the BP revision activities.
Supporting MOWE in the preparation of basin plans for basins that didn’t have them before and revision of existing basin Plans where required is among the key deliverables of the BRIGHT project.
