WLRC Director General Dr. Gete Zeleke received the recognition on behalf of WLRC, and shared the good news with the staff, highlighting the Centre’s contribution through its technical and professional expertise, including in promoting landscape management measures in the upstream areas to contain flood and silt that would otherwise enter and silt up the Dam.
He indicated that the recognition ceremony acknowledged WLRC’s contribution alongside other institutions and professionals who supported the GERD in different ways.
